2025 "Weaving the Future, Sunrise Again"

「編織未來，再次日出」是2025年8月份期間，由來自西班牙的藝術家莊昀Tania Tsong於SOCA Dulan的駐村創作展。

 

展覽以跨國文化為靈感，收集台灣在地色彩及西班牙的廢棄塑膠袋，結合海岸淨灘採集的塑料，經繁複編織轉化為大型立體作品。面向太平洋日出方位，藝術家將日常廢棄物重塑為與自然對話的媒介，深刻反思環境議題。

展覽期間更結合淨灘活動與編織工作坊，邀請社區居民及遊客共同參與創作，在色彩流動的編織中實踐永續，攜手迎向綠意未來。

 

"Weaving the Future, Sunrise Again" is an artist residency exhibition created by Spanish artist Tania Tsong (莊昀) at SOCA Dulan in August 2025.

Inspired by cross-cultural experiences, the exhibition collects discarded plastic bags featuring local Taiwanese colors alongside those from Spain, combining them with plastics gathered from coastal cleanups to create large-scale 3D installation works through intricate weaving techniques. Facing the pacific sunrise, the artist transforms everyday waste into a medium for dialogue with nature, fostering deep reflection on environmental issues.

During the exhibition, beach cleanups and weaving workshops are integrated to invite local community members and visitors to participate in the creative process—practicing sustainability through a vibrant weave of colors as we move together toward a greener future.
